Another busy day in Tyrrelstown Park, we had 4 home games with our U9s, 10s, 11s and 13s all at home. Our first matches kicked off at 10am with our 9s and 11s in action. Our coaches and some volunteers had arrived before 9am to help with the setting up of the goals and pitches (we'll never say no to a volunteer, please get involved).
Our 9s hosted St Itas and we had some cracking games there with some wins, draws and losses in the game but great effort shown by everyone.
Our 11s were playing Kilbarrack and we proved too strong for them with a strong win. Well done to the lads there.
Next we had our 10s play Willows, it was a tough game and we managed the win by a single goal.
Our 13s then hosted Ashbourne and the lads continue to improve and impress with some great teamwork and finishing leading to a strong win.
Away from home our 8s took a trip out to Balbriggan, everyone had great fun and Balbriggan proved to be great hosts.
Our 12s were away to Marino, some great battles in all areas of the pitch and the team showed great resilience to come back twice from behind and end the game as a draw. The lads continue to show great improvements.
We as a club would like to thank our coaches, volunteers, parents and the children for all their efforts today and to the club sponsors Glenveagh Home for the support too.
