Welcome to our Sunday round up.

Our academy and nursery keeps growing and its great seeing the development of our players in such a fun environment.

An excellent strong home win for the Under 11s versus a tidy East Meath United team today. Some outstanding wing play from Zack F and two neat finishes from Jude put Tyrrelstown in the driving seat in the first half. Ciarán expertly marshalled the defence and continued his scoring streak with a second half goal. Denis, Mark, Zack S and David kept the defence tight and Tadgh was brilliant in goals when we came under pressure. Great support play from Seán, Aaron and LJ helped Jonah to produce two great finishes, Matas scored a debut goal and Tomás rounded off a brilliant individual and team performance with a goal also.

Under 12s made the brief trip to Damastown to play another local team Clonee United. Our lads done well to hold off a well established team who are currently sitting top of League B, but it wasn't long before the home team broke the deadlock. From there they continued to apply pressure and got another two before half time.

We set out in the second half to turn things around but an early penalty awarded against was enough to keep the momentum with the home team. Despite the match finishing 5-0 it was our own player Colin who was awarded man of the match for another outstanding performance. This was our first competitive loss this season but we take the lessons, regroup and go again.

Our Under 13's had a fantastic performance against last year's league winners . A lovely headed finish from Cristian Stepanuc following a clever assist from Leon Sharpe was the difference, it could have been more as we missed a penalty in the second half and had some clear chances to extend the score.

The lads worked very hard and implemented what they had learnt in training this week. Very solid defensive display and the midfield and attackers kept Grange in their own half for long periods of the game.

We wish Grange Woodbine all the best for the season and they gave our players high praise for the respect we gave both their players and coaches alike .

Our under 10s came out strong winners today against a well organised Malahide team. We started really well and went in well up at halftime. We wanted to keep a clean sheet for the second half which the lads did. Some great individual and team performances all round and some lessons learned.

Unfortunately as the pitches in the park were unplayable with limited time available on the all weather we didn't have any pitch availability for our 9s to play.

As always we would like to thank Glenveagh Homes for their continued support of our club.
